1. Is it normal to be nervous?
Of course! It is totally normal to be nervous doing anything new, especially something vulnerable like connecting with a passed loved one. If you are nervous coming in, know you are not alone. I have not done a single reading that the sitter (the one getting the reading) is not just a little bit nervous! I will do my best to make it as comfortable as possible. And YES it is okay to cry and perfectly normal! All of your emotions are safe and welcome here. If there is anything I can do to make you more comfortable, just let me know! :-)

2. What if my loved one doesn't come through in my reading?
If your loved one doesn't come through during your reading, we will navigate that as a team. I am led by Spirit and their timeline. Spirit's timeline doesn't always align with what we want the timeline to be. Sometimes Spirit is not ready to come through and that is something I will always respect. Again, we will navigate this together during your session, as each situation will be individual.

3. How can I best prepare for my reading?
All you have to do is come with an open heart and open mind! Our loved ones in Spirit have their own timeline and some may come forward before others. Sometimes Spirits will come through that you may not recognize, or that may resonate later. It is important to be open to it all. If you have your heart set on just one Spirit coming through, you may miss important messages from others who are trying to reach you. I encourage you to have a conversation with your loved ones before having a session, letting them know you'd like them to come through. Then, it is in their hands and their timeline.

4. What if Alaina's availability doesn't work with my schedule. Is there anything I can do?
Yes! Just send me an email to readingswithalaina@gmail.com and we will see what we can do :)

5. Do you need photos or objects to connect?
It is not necessary for me to connect, but you can bring them to our session if you'd like!

6. Do you offer in-person readings?
Right now I only offer virtual sessions via Zoom.

7. What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations for a full refund must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled session.
Rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours before your scheduled session.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be rescheduled and is subject to the rescheduling policy above.
All cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made by emailing readingswithalaina@gmail.com. Requests sent through social media will not be considered valid notice.
